Re: Board's "noncommercial" appointments raise eyebrows

Note the ICANN Staff changes that are not announced. Most companies send out a Press Release for Director level positions. Other companies have a simple Blog entry. Why does ICANN make Staff changes in the dark of the night ? Since no one is in charge, do people just join ICANN via an Affirmation of Faith ?
