by Anonymous
The GAC surely is still needed. With all its current limitations, who else is there to oversee ICANN decisions but a body of Government representatives, representing the People of the World? Sorry, I cannot see anyone else taking up this role. And there never will be anyone else, it is simply illogical to suggest this.
