IGP's Jeanette Hofmann will co-moderate an open discussion examining the internationalization of critical Internet resources management and other topics at the upcoming Internet Governance Forum in Sharm el-Sheik, Egypt on Monday November 16 from 10:00-13:00 (local time, 8:00-11:00 UTC), remote participation options will be available.

Transition from IPv4 to IPv6;
APNIC & RIPE should ALREADY be on IPv6 - Their /8s will be RE-Used starting 1/1/10 The IANA contract and the role of governments; Like ICANN this is expected to fade from memory like the RFC Editor at USC/ISI The internationalization of critical Internet resources management All done and handled like the ACTA - Nothing for MM's groupies to do there The importance of new TLDs and IDNs for development; IDNs are everywhere and blocked by US consumers and TLDs totally automated - Nothing to do Enhanced cooperation Everyone sing Kum-Bah-Yah - 1,2,3 "Kum-Bah-Yah my Lord, Kum-Bah-Yah" Re: Re: Upcoming Event: IGF Main Session: Managing Critical Internet Resources
